The BIM-HARD BH-009/BV-2 double eccentric butterfly valve is designed as a bidirectional shut-off valve for water and neutral liquid systems, especially in large diameters and industrial applications. Its double eccentric design (2 offset) ensures that the disc’s sealing ring remains stress-free in the open position, reducing wear and extending service life.

It incorporates a self-adjusting EPDM elastomeric seat, which guarantees a complete (100%) seal, even after extended periods of operation. Reduced disc contact during operation lowers operating torque, minimizes cavitation, and improves hydraulic efficiency. Its design facilitates maintenance and handling, with robust and reliable components.

Manufactured from ductile iron and equipped with a manual gearbox, it complies with EN 593, EN 12266-1, EN 1092-2, and EN 558-1 standards, ensuring safety and performance. It is available in sizes DN200 to DN1800, making it ideal for water distribution and transport networks, cooling systems, industrial water and filtration.
